I am a Chartered Occupational Psychologist with 20 years’ experience in business psychology consultancies, specialising in organisational change, talent management and leadership development. 

Prior to setting up KO Performance Consulting in 2008, I held senior positions in a number of consultancies, including SHL UK and Australia and Human Qualities.  My early years in consultancy with SHL enabled me to develop extensive skills in psychometric and objective assessment techniques.  After taking a key role in their Organisation and Management Development team, I learned that my real passion is for working with leaders in organisations to help them to grow and deliver through change. 

I am an accredited to use of a range of psychometric tools, including the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), OPQ, Wave, HDS, FIRO, MTQ48 (Mental Toughness), IE and TE (Emotional Intelligence tools) and MQ (Motivation Questionnaire), as well as several 360o feedback tools.  I am also a qualified NLP Practitioner and certified in Transactional Analysis and the SPACE model of cognitive-behavioural coaching.

As a Chartered Occupational Psychologist, I combine psychological expertise with a pragmatic, results-focussed approach.  I bring to my work an ability to connect with people, along with the insight and courage to quickly identify the crux of an issue.  People tell me I stand out because of my energy, sharpness of mind, fun and impact.

Martin Adams BA BSc MSc (Psychol.)

Martin brings a strong international perspective, honed through delivery to clients throughout the UK, Europe, Middle East and New Zealand (from where he hails) and through first-hand experience of adapting to working life in unfamiliar countries and cultures.  He is now based in Dubai, and represents KO Performance Consulting in the UAE.  An accomplished and innovative Business Psychologist, with experience working for SHL and Hudson, Martin has extensive commercial experience with a range of public and private sector organisations.

Martin’s core interests lie in the application of psychology to the world of work to support organisations in the development of their talent.  His particular expertise lies in assessment and coaching.  He is accredited in SHL, Hogan, Psytech, Genos, Kenexa and PreVisor assessment tools.  He also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Coaching from Middlesex University.


Carolyn Bogush Bsc (Hons) MSc C.Psychol

Carolyn is an experienced Chartered Occupational Psychologist and former colleague from SHL and Human Qualities.  She has twenty years’ consulting experience, working with individuals and teams in a broad range of organizations, from hospitality to finance, charities to FMCG, and media to telecommunications.  

Her core expertise is in identifying and developing talent, executive assessment and leadership development.  Carolyn particularly enjoys supporting and coaching individuals to reach their potential and lead their teams more effectively.  She is also qualified in a wide range of psychometric tools, including OPQ, WAVE, MBTI Step 1 & 2, IE & TE (emotional intelligence tools) and HDS.

 Her clients appreciate her down to earth and pragmatic approach, using her expertise and knowledge to generate practical and useable solutions that really work. Her extensive expertise in assessment, development and leadership, and willingness to share her real life experience to bring issues to life, mean that Carolyn is always in demand.

In addition to her consulting work, Carolyn is also the Global Chair of Limmud, an international not-for-profit education organisation.


Sharon Brockway BSc MSc MBPsS

Sharon is an experienced facilitator and executive coach who specialises in leadership and management development at middle and senior levels. This includes working with executive teams, devising talent management programmes, designing and delivering assessment and development centres and providing tailored leadership development programmes for organisations.

Her background is in Occupational Psychology, with some 15 years experience of working as a consultant in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. Previously Sharon worked at Roffey Park Institute as Principal Consultant and continues to work as a tutor on their MSc for Personal and Organisational Development.

Her style is warm, measured and supportive. She regards feedback as a prime source of individual development, both for herself and the people she works with. As a facilitator she is articulate and clear in her delivery and prefers to work with a light touch. She believes that people learn best when they are having fun and engaged through experiential activities and reflection.

Sharon is qualified in a wide range of psychometric including the OPQ, the Hogan series, MBTI, FIRO B and the EI Profile. She is an NLP practitioner and holds certificates in Transactional Analysis and coaching.


Elizabeth Harrison BSc BA MCIPD CPCAB(dip)

Elizabeth draws on thirty years’ experience in people management, personal development and business consultancies.  Her early career experience in HR management and consultancy was gained in Human Resources teams, latterly at director level in Shell, United Biscuits and SHL (where we first connected). 

Elizabeth is passionate about working with people to realise their full potential, and sees people’s performance at work one facet of their wider well-being.  She is highly appreciative and empowering in her approach, focusing primarily on strengths as a way of enabling powerful change.  She has an amazing ability to connect with people to help them overcome blocks and transform their performance (and lives).  

Elizabeth is qualified to use a wide variety of psychometric tools, including OPQ, WAVE, 360 tools (eg Inspiring Leader) and other specialist tools such as Bar-On EQ-i to assess Emotional Intelligence and Strengthsfinder to explore unique talents. She has an Advanced Diploma in Coaching & Mentoring from the Oxford School, in association with the CIPD, and practises a RAPSI – the Ravenscroft Approach to Psycho-Spiritual Integration - a particularly powerful & effective form of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). Elizabeth is currently training with the Bath Consultancy Group as a coaching supervisor.
